If you've been following the careers of Ghostface Killah and DOOM, you've undoubtedly heard promises of a collaborative project. While Ghost is as prolific as ever these days, it's much harder to pin DOOM down (he's also been evading a follow-up to his underground classic with Madlib, Madvillainy). Somehow, the wonderful people at Adult Swim have managed to get the two rappers on a track together,even billing it as a DOOMSTARKS release.
Whether or not this leads to any further work between Ghost and DOOM is yet to be seen, but "Lively Hood" is everything we want from the pairing -- an equally menacing and cartoonish instrumental that brings out the most animated performances out of the two veterans.
