Georgia To Garnish $1 Million Of Nas' Revenue On Tour For Unpaid Taxes

The Georgia Department of Revenue has received an order demanding Nas to hand over $1 million from his tour with Lauryn Hill in order to cover his tax debt.

Nas will be handing over a large chunk of his tour money to repay his tax debt in Georgia, as new court documents show.

TMZ reports that Nas owes The Georgia Department of Revenue $1,083,435  from unpaid taxes over the years 2006, 2007, 2009, 2010. According to court documents filed by GDR, they have obtained an order demanding that Live Nation, the company behind Nas' tour with Lauryn Hill, garnish his wages until his debt is covered.

A rep for Nas says these matters have already been settled, but the Department of Revenue says otherwise, insisting the case is still open and they're trying to collect.

Nas' tour with Lauryn Hill is currently underway and is sure to bring in the big bucks.
