The protests are still going on across the country following the death of George Floyd at the hands of the police. Over the weekend, cities across America and Canada held their own demonstrations protesting against social injustices across America. Some cities have experienced looting and riots but George Floyd's brother is begging for the violence to stop.

During a prayer at the murder scene, he issued a statement calling for peace in cities across America. "I understand y'all upset. Like I said, I doubt y'all half as upset as I am so if I'm not here wildin' out. If I'm not here blowin' up stuff. If I'm not here messin' up my community. What are y'all doin'?" Terrance Floyd said in response. to the riots. "Y'all not doin' nothing but that's not going to bring my brother back at all."

He later appeared on ABC News where he elaborated further on his call for peace. "I wanna ... just go crazy. But I’m here. My brother wasn’t about that. My brother was about peace. You’ll hear a lot of people say he was a gentle giant," he explained, adding that his brother "would want us to seek justice" without the looting or the rioting.

"It's OK to be angry, but channel your anger to do something positive or make a change another way because we've been down this road already," he said. "The anger, damaging your hometown is not the way he'd want."
