The streets of San Diego are buzzing as the fans and industry take notice of a local football star turned Hip Hop artist by the name of GeeGeeBStone. As each day goes by his fan base grows and with the same determination he used when playing ball GeeGeeBsStone is rushing towards his goal of becoming known as “The New Voice Of San Diego.”
Born and raised in the South East section of San Diego, Gee was raised listening to a diverse collection of music and although he chose to put his full focus into sports he always had a great love for music. As he grew older he became a widely recognized football player, earning himself trophies and medals. This early exposure to sports and winning is where he cites his inspiration for not only being a leader but also teaching him that with the right determination anything is possible to achieve. Although he was a rising football star Gee was convinced by an older cousin to enter the studio for his first time in eighth grade when he rapped over a beat his cousin had made. This first exposure to hearing himself played back through the studios speakers immediately interested Gee and he began to spend his time split between football and writing music.
As he entered High School Gee continued to win trophies for the teams he played for and got his first exposure to music fame when he released his first song as part of the group K.O.E. entitled “Slaps To The Max.” When he recorded the song he didn’t take it very seriously as he was still focused on his Foot Ball career. The amazing response to it however made Gee take a serious look at music as a career. With an ever-growing demand for new and fresh music Gee and K.O.E. re entered the studio and worked on not only their lyrics and delivery but also studied artists who came before them in San Diego. Following up on the success of “Slaps To The Max” the group recorded and released the songs “Check My Swag Out” and “You Nasty.” Both songs were met with great response and Gee set out as a solo artist to make music his full time career.
With his flow perfected and the right formula for creating music to keep heads nodding and people dancing Gee has released the San Diego favorite “Booty Bop.” The song can be heard in clubs across San Diego as well as on radio stations that are overwhelmed with requests for the song. Gee’s buzz has grown so greatly in San Diego that he was even asked to appear on the legendary San Diego based Batkave Studio’s highly anticipated “D.O.M.” project. With the entire city of San Diego and a fan base that is growing to include many other cities in Southern California, GeeGeeBStone is rushing for that game-winning touchdown that will be his achieving the title of “The New Voice Of San Diego”
