G Herbo's 2017 releases to date include a couple loose collabs with Lil Bibby and an absolute monster of a track with Dave East and Don Q called "No Hook." This afternoon, he gave fans something else to chew on, a casual SoundCloud release titled "For Real For Real."
"For Real For Real" consists of an orchestra of tinny bells and strings, rippling snare drums, and gun reload sound effects, as well as Herbo's relentless delivery recounting harrowing tales from the Southside and chest-thumping the code by which he lives.
We're still waiting patiently on Herbo's debut album Humble Beast. Until then, listen to "For Real For Real" and revisit his November mixtape Strictly 4 My Fans.
