In the trailer for “Tunnel Vision” G-Eazy plays Johnny Russo, a gritty hip hop promoter who has been in the game for 20 years, but has repeatedly lost everything due to the real estate crisis and a ponzi scheme run by his lawyer. The character and screenplay are based on the real life story of Antonio Salvatore Servidio.

To promote his newly-released When It’s Dark Out album, Bay Area’s G-Eazy made his way out East to the Big Apple, where he paid a visit to the Hot 97 studios to chop it up with gang from Ebro in the Morning. Sitting down for nearly a half-hour, G-Eazy speaks about his new album, his pick-up game with the ladies, wearing the same pair of jeans for 2 years, and a whole lot more. However, he doesn’t take this interview too seriously and dodges many of the questions with a sarcastic and/or goofy response. Nonetheless, fans will still appreciate it.

Like just about everyone else in the music industry, Oakland rapper G-Eazy made the pilgrimage down to Austin for this year's SXSW. And like many of his fellow rappers, he made a vlog to document his experience. See him chilling back stage with the likes of Rae Sremmurd, YG, Big Sean, Chance the Rapper, Redman, Joey Bada$$ and performing on stage with such notable names as E-40, Kehlani, and K CAMP. See him quote Pinky and the Brain, see him looking white boy flossy in his trademark black leather jacket, see how copes with fans fangirling all over him.

G-Eazy has been going hard touring over the last little while, and he's been documenting things along the way through his "From The Bay To The Universe" vlog series. This episode has Eazy in a climate he's too familiar with in the Bay, hitting up the relatively icy tundras of Denver and Chicago. Luckily, the rapper has an antidote to the freezing temperatures, one of the oldest existing, in fact, using a bottle of whiskey to warm his soul. Elsewhere we see G-Eazy quoting Mac Dre, rocking some crowds, and getting zany on the tour bus, which all makes the cold seem not so bad.
