G-Eazy rang in his twenty-ninth birthday with a selfless gesture. While traditional custom dictates that one should bestow gifts unto the birthday boy, young Gerald flipped the script. This morning, the "No Limit" rapper came through with a surprise EP titled The Vault, which featured a trifecta of bangers. Core fans will be pleased to note that this isn't exactly "radio" G-Eazy; instead, he's coming through with some bars. Such is indeed the case on the Global Dan assisted "Wasabi," which plays out like a menacing yet bouncy homage to the Bay Area.

"Rest in peace Mac Dre," raps G-Eazy, "shed a tear on November 1st, will always remember that day." He proceeds to spit with an effortless flow, reflecting on his expensive tastes and affinity for spending "fuck-you money." Global Dan holds it down for the second verse, matching Gerald's intensity with an equally lavish contribution. "Do the worm like I'm Scotty 2 Hotty, too hottie," raps Dan. "I was chillin' with a couple of thotties." A vivid image, to be certain.

Fan reception to G-Eazy's drop has been positive thus far, and hopefully, the Beautiful And Damned rapper can continue along these lines. Either way, be sure to check out the project in its entirety, and sound off below.

Quotable Lyrics

Send me pics and I show the team
She bought it all when I sold the dream
Most of y'all don't even know what's clean
I'm in new Gucci and some old Supreme
Been hyphy like 'Way' Perk'
And I'm off the brown when I pour the Heem
Bitch, I'm rich, I pay fifteen hundred just for the jeans
