After the disaster that was Fyre Festival, founder Billy McFarland is looking to minimize the damage that could be done to him personally.

According to Billboard, Billy McFarland, the 25-year-old is supposedly in talks with federal prosecutors about striking a plea deal for the wire fraud charge he's been slapped with. The assistant U.S. Attorney Kristy Greenberg has asked =Judge Gabriel W. Gorenstein for more time to complete the negotiations and Greenberg has since been a 30-day extension. As a result, McFarland continues to enjoy his freedom after posting $300,000 in bail.

Fyre Festival was the debacle of a music event that not only cost wealthy millennials a ton of money, but also left the Bahamas holding an L as well.
