French Montana has been riding a nice high since the release of his new album Jungle Rules a little less than a week ago and, maybe because of that, he's got a theory on why rap is better than rock.

According to TMZ, French thinks that hip-hop surpassed rock in popularity because of his new LP. He's supposedly of the opinon that Jungle Rules has a lot to do with the report that hip-hop is officially generating more listens than rock, especially considering the demographic he's appealing to.Though he may not be the direct cause of this huge shift, his recent success with "Unforgettable" and everything else, he hasn't hurt the trend either.
