French Montana gave his grandmother a tender tribute while making a stop in Morocco.
The "Unforgettable" rapper shared a photo of him kissing his grandmother's headstone, with the caption reading, "Can't come to the mother land without visiting my grand mother land !! My uncles and aunts hug me just to smell your scent appreciate u raising me right."
Originally born in Casablanca, French came to New York at the age of 13. When his father moved back to Morocco two years later, his family was dependent on him being the chief breadwinner in the family, with her mother relying on welfare and had no job prospects of her own. His grandmother was supposedly a supportive figure through it all and it's a fitting homage to a great lady.
