UPDATE: Gibbs' management has dismissed the notion of a new Gibbs album as "fake news."
ORIGINAL ARTICLE: Freddie Gibbs is an artist who fans can count on to put out new music on a regular basis. It's been a little over a month since he put out his redemptive 8-track project You Only Live 2wice. Sunday night, he hopped on Instagram to inform his followers of his plans to release an album in the near future.
"New album coming soon," he wrote. Best case scenario: the album to which he is referring is Bandana, the highly anticipated sequel to Pinata, his immaculate, collaborative full-length with Madlib. But we'll be happy to hear whatever Gibbs has to offer.
