Freddie Gibbs spent a portion of 2016 locked up in Austria while he awaited trial for rape charges. (He was ultimately acquitted.)
Gibbs reflects on his incarceration in an incredible new song called "Crushed Glass." He wanders a desert in the video, perhaps an illusion to the hopelessness he may have felt during his time behind bars; Teddy Walton & Aaron Bow's weepy, cinematic strings add to the video's Biblical feel. It is revealed in the end that it was a dream: Gibbs wakes up in a jail cell.
