A few weeks ago, photographer, Nabil, posted a photo of Frank Ocean working in the studio, and reminded us that great music is soon upon us. While It seems like it’s been ages since his channel ORANGE album took the music world by storm, we can now start looking forward to his sophomore album.

In typical Frank Ocean form, the Odd Future singer took to his Tumblr page and announced that he’s nearly complete with his follow up to Channel Orange. Not only did he say that the album was almost done, but he added that he may have to miss this years Coachella festival in order to complete it. You know when an artist is willing to miss out on that kind of bread in order to work on his craft, he’s onto something and will have longevity in this game.

This July marks the two year anniversary of Channel Orange‘s release.

We’ll keep you posted on any further updates with the album. In the meantime, take a listen to Frank Ocean’s feature on Converse’ record “Hero” featuring Diplo and The Clash.
