Frank Ocean issues a statement to fans letting them know he is cancelling the European portion of his tour. After the somewhat surprising success of Channel Orange, Ocean has been garnering a lot of buzz. With limited live performances under his belt, and on the heels of a recent issue at the Norway Oya Festival, the Odd Future singer made an announcement to his fans that he will be cancelling shows in Europe.
He will also be withdrawing from opening for the largely successful Coldplay. Frank Ocean issued this statement:
"Let me start by staying I feel like an asshole right now, but a tough decision had to be made in regard to my schedule over the next months and the casulties of that decision include my appearances at upcoming festivals in Europe and my opening slot on the European leg of the Coldplay world tour. Sorry as fuck, I'll be back if you'll have me."
No word on if the dates will be made up in the future.
