Cash Money Degreez songwriter Stone has reportedly died in a Louisiana prison.
Former Cash Money signee, Stone has passed away in a prison in Louisiana. The rapper, who was a part of Cash Money Degreez, as well as the duo D-Boyz has reportedly died of natural causes.
Stone will be remembered not only for his own work, but also for the writing he did for Cash Money behind the scenes, though he remains uncredited. Stone is said to have been responsible for co-writing many of the early Cash Money hits. He has spoken of his extensive work on the Big Tymers' comeback single "Still Fly", as well as how he contributed many portions of hooks and verses to other songs in the label's vast catalog.
Several members of the Cash Money family, including Lil Wayne and Juvenile have extended their condolences to the late talent. Read their tweets below.
