Today, we're introduced to FLOYD, yet another promising young voice from the region, who sounds somewhere between the wave of trap auteurs like Future and Young Thug and the most recent emergence of internet-influenced emcees like Lil Yachty. Like both of those camps, he knows his way around a hook, and has a remarkable control of his vocal tone. Producers Eera and Sky supply a sub-bass that aims to immerse more than it knocks, creating a surreal platform for FLOYD to exist within. We're officially paying attention.
