The Flatbush Zombies have been quiet since the last of their “Day of the Dead” releases in 2015. However, this release seems to announce that they are back at it and hopefully points to their impending album release in early 2016.
“Glorious Thugs” is a riff on fellow Brooklyn native Notorious B.I.G.’s “Notorious Thugs,” from title to beat to rapping. Producer (and emcee) Erick Arc Elliot produced the track, looping a section of the original beat that Meechy Darko, Juice, and Erick use to give their best Bone-Thugs impressions. Fingers crossed for more from these Zombies in 2016.
