That 'R' rating is finally paying off.

When Hugh Jackman agreed to reprise his role as Wolverine one last time in the movie Logan, he famously took a big pay cut so the movie could be rated ‘R’. We finally get to see a bit of that payoff in the latest (and final) trailer for the upcoming X-Men film.

The trailer shows off the powers of X-23, the little girl who is potentially cloned from Wolverine’s DNA, and her temperament is every bit as aggressive as Logan’s. Throughout the trailer she and Wolverine use their claws to shred people in a way Marvel hasn’t allowed in past PG-13 movies.

Towards the beginning, there’s also a nice meta-moment where the characters discuss the significance of an X-Men comic an X-Men movie. Are y’all stoked to see Wolverine’s final chapter.
