Fetty Wap's XXL Freshmen Freestyle & Profile

Watch Fetty Wap's XXL Freshmen Freestyle.

As is customary, each XXL Freshmen is filmed spitting an acapella freestyle for the XXL cameras. After unveiling the new cover at the beginning of June, XXL is ready to start rolling out the freestyles, and they begin with New Jersey's own Fetty Wap. Fetty uses his signature sing-song flow, although it might not be quite as appealing without a melodic beat to back it. What do you think? Take a look above.

The freestyles for each Freshman are accompanied by quick profiles on the artists, which runs down the origins of the artist, labels they're affiliated with, and their sound. Catch Fetty's profile below, where he speaks on "Trap Queen" and how he's only been making music for two years.

Stay tuned for freestyles from DeJ Loaf, Vince Staples, GoldLink, K Camp, Tink and the rest of the 2015 Freshmen class.
