Father's currently out in Texas playing some dates with Maxo Kream, and while on the road, he decided to leak out a couple of new tracks. In addition to "Getaway," Awful Records' resident dad gives us "Please Stop Making Fake Versace," both included on an in-the-works EP entitled Papicodone to which he'll be adding more songs in the future.
A veritable "cease and desist" letter to all things fake, this track is led by buzzing synths, teeth-rattling bass and one of Father's so-simple-it's-stupid-good beats. In addition to decrying fake designer peddlers and customers, Fat targets taxes, accents and closed mouths, instead preferring to cool by the pool near loud speakers.
