Father & his Awful Records brethren Archibald Slim are plotting their joint album Dionysus, slated to arrive sometime in 2016. Last night they liberated a new track from the album called "In State Outta State."
Father is known for the straightforward, strangely hypnotic quality of his voice, and here he shows off some impressive multisyllabic rhymes on the hook. This chilled out, flabby electric piano is well-suited for his singular style, as it is for Archibald Slim and their labelmate Ethereal.
