Fat Trel goes "Walkin' Thru My Hood" in his new video.
On April Fool's Day, Fat Trel dropped his Gleesh tape, and included on there was the plaintive track "Walkin' Thru My Hood." Today, that very song receives a video.
Posted up behind caution tape, Trel raps about the many harrowing things he's witnessed in his neighborhood. A particularly striking tale is the one he tells about a friends mother who went from employed to crack fiend in just two years. For that reason, among others, Trel is "smokin' weed and sippin' lean," but when he sings that on this song's hook, those things feel less like debauched partying and more like coping mechanisms.
