Out The Trunk (Remix)
Out The Trunk (Remix)
Fashawn Feat. Busta Rhymes
HOTTTTT
Fashawn's latest album The Ecology finds the Fresno rapper at the top of his game, now signed to Nas' Mass Appeal. Now, he's given us a remix to one of the LP's standout tracks, the Exile-produced "Out the Trunk," featuring none other than Conglomerate Records' boss Busta Rhymes.  Fashawn has a stop-start flow, hitting us with witty bars when we least expect it. Busta, now 42, shows no signs of slowing down, providing a nice contrast with his manic, multisyllabic flows that we know and love.
Something To Believe In
Something To Believe In
Fashawn Feat. Nas & Aloe Blacc
VERY HOTTTTT
Fashawn is set to release his long-anticipated sophomore album next week, and after dropping off a brand new record on Monday, he returns once again with the stacked "Something to Believe In". Over a hard loop from the legendary DJ Khalil, Fashawn is joined by both Aloe Blacc, as well as one of the most respected emcees in hip hop history -- Nas.

Fashawn
HOTTTTT
Fashawn's debut album, Boy Meets World was released in 2009, and we're finally going to see a proper follow up in 2015. As you may recall, the Cali rapper's project was produced entirely by respected beatmaker Exile, and he's back behind the boards for the majority of Shawn's new offering, including "Out The Trunk", a record he released today.

Whatever It Takes (J57 Remix)
Whatever It Takes (J57 Remix)
DJ JS-1 Feat. Murs, Fashawn & Akie Bermiss
HOTTTTT
To become successful in any industry requires a high level of dedication--a willingness to do "Whatever It Takes" to make it to the top. On this brand new J57 Remix of DJ JS-1's collaboration with Murs and Fashawn, this persistence is made evidently clear by all of the parties involved. Putting his own, more experimental, spin on JS-1's original instrumental, which includes a vocal hook, courtesy of Akie Bermiss, J57 reminds listeners why he's one of the game's fastest rising talents.
Dreams
Dreams
Fashawn Feat. Evidence
HOTTTTT
Recent Mass Appeal signee Fashawn is gearing up for a joint project with one of the illest producers in the game, The Alchemist. Entitled FASH-ionably Late, the project will be an EP that'll see the light of day in 2015. Today, we get "Dreams," which also features rapping from Uncle Al's "Stepbrother," Evidence.
Whatever It Takes
Whatever It Takes
DJ JS-1 Feat. Murs & Fashawn
HOTTTTT
DJ JS-1 made his HNHH debut earlier this week with the reader-acclaimed "Turn The Tables," a throwback record that recalled hip-hop's golden age. Today, the producer returns with a decidedly more modern instrumental, albeit accenting it with a classic sample-driven chorus. Lending original bars to JS-1's instrumental this time around are Fashawn & MURS, both of whom sound invigorated to be involved.

Boaz Feat. KXNG CROOKED, Murs & Fashawn
HOTTTTT
Boaz has been doing a lot lately. The Rostrum Records signee recently delivered two instalments in his Real Name, No Gimmicks mixtape series, (Volume 1 and Volume 2), and at the same time, he's been working on his debut album Intuition.
Golden State Of Mind
Golden State Of Mind
Fashawn Feat. Dom Kennedy
HOTTTTT
Fashawn emulates some golden age West Coast vibes on his latest ode to California living, with "Golden State of Mind." He recruits a West Coast staple for the record, appropriately so, Dom Kennedy (whom we haven't heard from much these days, so it's definitely a welcome guest feature). Fashawn, who was signed to Nas' Mass Appeal imprint earlier this year, is prepping his debut album The Ecology for 2015, and this serves as the first single off the LP. Is it a good look for the first single? Are you excited for the full album?
Hood Banger
Hood Banger
DJ EFN Feat. Fashawn & Wrekonize
HOTTTTT
The last we heard from DJ EFN was back in 2012 when he dropped "Thanksgiving" starring Kendrick Lamar, iMAYDAY! & Blood Type. Now, Miami's mixtape king is back with another "Hood Banger" for your summer iTunes playlist. Featuring Fashawn and iMAYDAY!'s own Wrekonize, the single more than lives up to its title, offering some top-notch lyrical wordplay on a flipped EPMD "Head Bangers" instrumental courtesy of Hazardis Soundz.

California's own Fashawn returns with another new remix for the fans. Last week we heard him deliver his “Money On My Mind” freestyle, and today, he’s back with another one for us over Lana Del Rey's "West Coast".   Fashawn teams up again with California producers the Lab Rats to invite the rest of the world into his lens so they can see and hear what the West Coast is like for young Californian's today.
Money On My Mind (Freestyle)
Money On My Mind (Freestyle)
Fashawn
HOTTTTT
Fashawn has been lowkey since the beginning of April, when he dropped off the track "Champion" with production from EXILE and "Ladies." Today he returns to HNHH with a brand new upbeat freestyle over Sam Smith's "Money On Mind."
Champion
Champion
Fashawn
HOTTTTT
Fashawn isn't the first to name himself a champion, but he does so with stylish finesse with the track featuring production by Exile.  Bear in mind this track was originally recorded Timothy Bradley in light of upcoming fight against Manny Pacqiauo. As for the fight, the two will exchange blows on April 12th, but Fashawn's next big thing, The Ecology will come to us later this year.
Ladies
Ladies
Fashawn
HOTTTTT
Fashawn brings us his tribute to the women struggling to raise the next generation in the form of his song, "Ladies."  The song itself is stellar, with old school production brought to us on the behalf of Hecktic, that recalls a style of which we were so fond of but haven't seen too much of lately. If the old-hat lyricism and nineties-sampling production cues were on their way out, maybe Fashawn is ushering in an era where we will see a resurgence.

HOTTTTT
Listen to El Chapo Baby (Freestyle), the new track by Fashawn, which was dropped on Tuesday, September 10th, 2013. Fashawn's odds keep getting better with each new leak, and El Chapo Baby (Freestyle) will undoubtedly improve his chances of winning. It's a worthy addition to a respectable catalogue that has seen a lot of growth since Fashawn debuted in this game. We're looking forward to the follow-up.

Fashawn's horizons are broadening with each new release, and Kush Jar (Remix) is no exception. It's a worthy addition to a catalogue that has seen much growth since Fashawn stepped foot in the rap game. We're looking forward to hearing more.

Fashawn's rap artistry continues to improve with every release, something which is most definitely evidenced on Halfway Crooks. His ever-expanding catalogue is definitely better for it, and we're looking forward to the next piece of the puzzle - aren't you?
