Famous Dex should be celebrating the release of his new mixtape tonight Dexter The Robot, but instead he has some explaining to do after some footage of the Chicago rapper surfaced online today of him beating up his girlfriend.
The incident reportedly took place at famous songwriter Tish Hyman’s place, who posted the clip on her IG page Tuesday night of Dex repeatedly beating on his girl. You can see from the clip Dex appears to chase the victim into a corner in what appears to be the hallway of a building, and proceeds to swing on her pretty good. Tish’s caption read…
“Let this man #famousdex @famousdex stay at my place. He not only TRASHED And BROKE INTO my place. He beat this poor girl so badly. Is this the new generation of great artists that young people are looking up to? And is THIS the type of person a great company like@puma #puma chose to represent their brand. So disappointing. I hope this spreads through the Internet and shows these young people what Young Dexter is about. Thank you for hurting me young man. But you truly hurt yourself.”
Dex apparently addressed the situation in a since-deleted tweet, where he admits to fighting his girl, but believed it was justified due to her cheating on him.
