Canada’s newest sensation, Fabrice Piard, was born to Haitian parents in Montreal, Canada Not long after birth, his Parents moved back to their mother land of Haiti to raise their 2 children. Growing up on this tropical island with the sound of drums, bass guitars and trumpets as a part of his daily life made Fabrice fall in love with music.Piard, moved back to Canada in 2000 to pursue a higher education, however, his love for rhythm ,music and melodic arrangements took the best of him. Although, singing wasn’t in his plans, Fabrice took it upon himself to take piano and voice lessons to perfect his craft. After years of hard work and determination he finally pushed himself to take risk musically and not to be boxed in one genre. When asked what he thought of today’s music he responds “music is universal,There is so much music out there it’s crazy!”, thus explaining his unconventional choice of sounds and lyrical content. Fab’s music represent the reality of his life and whishes for his listener to go on a three minutes vacation when listening to his music. Starting with his first single Samedi Soir which uses a high tempo beat that can easily be called Electro with a twist of Pop and a touch of french.
