"Magazine Vs Magazine" is the first single from emerging Bronx emcee/producer Euro League's upcoming project Euro Trip: Continuum. It highlights "the juxtaposition between street life and internet fame, [and] how important it is for people trying to get out."
The cut was co-produced by fellow New York City artist MP Williams, who's worked with A$AP Rocky (on Long.Live.A$AP), Black Hippy and more. As for Euro (not to be confused with new Young Money artist €uro), he's been officially cosigned by Kendrick Lamar, and is a close collaborator of fellow ReeLife crew member Doley Bernays. Below, peep footage of him spitting for ScHoolboy Q and K.Dot during the "Rigamortis" video shoot in October 2011.
"I wake up to these gunshots, go to sleep to a blog post / How you worthless, nigga, when they go purchase niggas? / We new slaves, same shit that Kan' sold / Only thing that's missing is a barcode / I'mma push it tall, fuck if the narcs know / 'Cause this game we play with no console / Just a bunch of demons tryna console."
