On the Marshall Mathers II track "So Far," Eminem opened up about his grandparent-esque level of technological prowess. "My apologies, no disrespect to technology, but what the heck is all of these buttons?" raps Em, "You expect me to sit here and learn that? Fuck I gotta do to hear this new song from Luda? Be an expert at computers?" Perhaps it's no wonder that his classic duet with Xzibit "Don't Approach Me" is essentially the musical equivalent to "get off my lawn." Either way, it would appear that Em has attempted to take control of his own destiny, wresting authority over his digital handle out of Paul Rosenberg's vigilant hands.

In a new clip uploaded via Instagram, possibly by Eminem himself, the rapper can be seen glued to his phone. When Paul inquires what he's doing, Em looks up, childlike, to make the announcement. "I'm on Twitter," he says, deadpan. "I'm taking control of my own Twitter now." Clearly, the results speak for themselves.

Em has clearly been feeling jovial of late, as this latest self deprecating clip arrives on the heels of another amusing video, revealing Em's pre-Coachella rehearsal ritual. Who needs P90X when you've got Em guiding you with the quintessential lower body workout. I for one, welcome Eminem's arrival onto Twitter, and hopefully this will remain a permanent fixture.
