Eminem Posts Impressive Mid-Year Streaming Numbers In New Report

Slim Shady keeps raking in the listens.

Despite not releasing an album since 2013, Eminem has still ranked as one of the most-listened to artists of 2017.

According to a new industry report from BuzzAngle Music, music consumers are still giving the Slim Shady plenty of spins. He ranks as the 12th most-streamed artist of the year so far, totaling more than 1.1 billion streams over all audio and video platforms. He's also in the Top 15 when is comes to total consumption, with sales projections topping more than 750,000 across physical, digital and streaming outlets.

Just to give you an idea of just how impressive these numbers are, he has more streams in 2017 than DJ Khaled, Big Sean, Rihanna and the Chainsmokers, to name just a few. What's more, he's done so with material that's a minimum of four years old. This is in a year where total music conumpstion is up 9.9% versus this time last year. All hail Shady.
