It's Thursday, and that means another special archived release from Tim Westwood. The don DJ has come through with recent TBT installments from the likes of Common, DMX, and Jay Z, and this week's certainly doesn't disappoint, as Westwood has shared an unreleased freestyle from Eminem and late Detroit rapper and D12 member Proof, who was killed in 2006.
This unheard freestyle session dates back to 1999, just before the release of The Slim Shady LP, Eminem's first major label album. It's safe to say this is one for the history books.
The D12 brethren go back and forth for almost 13 minutes, spitting the sharpest and most diabolical of rhymes over expert beat change-ups from Westwood. One time for '99!
