With MirrorLand still slated for 2019 release, Doctur Dot and Johnny Venus have lent their talents to Emeryld, culminating in a smooth new vibe called "Hope You're Happy." The track begins with a gentle blend of piano and guitar-work, providing Emeryld's vocals ample space to set a narrative tone. "We were in your room just talkin' shit, you yellin' just to prove you're into it," she sings, assertive in her delivery. "At least you're fightin' for somethin'."

Dot comes through to expand the narrative, taking the role of a misunderstood flame. "Your friends claimin' they knew me, and while my seasons was changing" he raps, "all them was readin' the same scripts, stepped out for the movie." The ever-romantic Johnny Venus closes out the track, reflecting on a relationship gone awry, and a once-mighty one at that. "Just a year ago we put in to split a combo," he sings, "and now you're gettin' your every wish, even kept your eyes open when we kissed." A smooth effort across the board, allow this one to sate your MirrorLand thirst for the time being.

Quotable Lyrics

Your friends claimin' they knew me
And while my seasons was changin'
All them was readin' the same scripts
Stepped out for the movie
Was over, and everybody wanna control you
You on the road for 300 days
Come back, your father pass away
