As we approach the release date for Elijah Blake's debut album, Shadows & Diamonds, the talented singer/songwriter has been dropping off leaks from the album, along with an official remix of his lead single "I Just Wanna...," featuring DeJ Loaf. After letting us hear "Drop Dead Beautiful" the other week as well as "Fading," we're returning to the original version of "I Just Wanna..."
We had Elijah come by the NYC office and do an acoustic performance of the song, which shows off just how strong his vocals are, untouched. The stripped down version of the song makes it feel a bit more personal and emotional. Watch above.
Shadows & Diamonds is set for release on June 23rd. Stay tuned for our interview with Elijah as well, we couldn't let him leave the office without asking a few questions.
