Although she might have been a little overshadowed by those who took the stage after her (Audio Push, iLoveMakonnen, Rae Sremmurd, Father), Chicago's Dreezy was one of sure highlights of New York's CMJ Festival this year. The first to perform at an SOB's showcase, she took the stage spitting ferociously, alarming and impressing a crowd that was largely there to catch other sets. Having that, a great "Chiraq" remix and the impressive Schizo tape under her belt, the MC has now announced that she's signed to Interscope, and dropped a new track to boot.
"Boss" has all the makings of Dreezy's best tracks -- an oppressive beat, a dizzying array of flows and through-the-roof charisma. Look for her to break out in a big way in 2015.
Underrated, but I'm over-dedicated
If I demonstrate it, it's premeditated
Niggas celebratin', but they never made it
Hatin' 'cause I masturbate in conversation
Bitches always got me in their conversations
With no invitations for a confrontation
Dreezy got the whole world waitin'
I am highly anticipated
