The October's Very Own roster has found itself a new member this week with Atlanta's ILOVEMAKONNEN. The news of the emcee's signing comes on the heels of Drake remixing the artist's underground hit single "Tuesday."
For those unfamiliar, ILOVEMAKONNEN released his self-titled EP earlier this year. The original version of "Tuesday", originally titled "Club Going Up On A Tuesday," can be found on the release alongside six other solo tracks. The EP received generally favorable reception from HNHH readers, earning itself a VERY HOTTTTT rating of 86% from reviewers.
OVO Sound was founded by Drake, Noah "40" Shebib and Oliver El-Khatib in 2012. The current artist roster also includes Drake, PARTYNEXTDOOR, Majid Jordan, and OB O’Brien. Producers signed to the label include 40, Boi-1da, T-Minus, Mike Zombie and Nineteen85.
