Before Drake skyrocketed into stardom, Thank Me Later was largely seen as a solid, if a little underwhelming, studio debut. However, the album has aged pretty well, and has a fair share of gems to be found. One particular standout is "Light Up," an atmospheric collaboration with Jay-Z. Triple entendre aside, both emcees trade a pair of dope, lengthy verses. Before the pseudo-rivalry popped off, Drake was all but holding his own on a track with a bonafide legend.

While Drake kicks things off with a verse heavy on the early Yong Money style punchlines, Jay-Z slides through like a boss and delivers a cold, calculated verse. Check this one out and celebrate simpler times.

Quotable Lyrics

And since no good deed go unpunished
I'm not as cool with niggas as I once was
I once was cool as the Fonz was
But these bright lights turned me to a monster
Sorry, mama, I promised it wouldn't change me
But I would have went insane had I remained the same me
