Drake creates his own Instagram award show called "Hood Grammys", in which Bobby Shmurda, Rae Sremmurd, and OG Maco were honored.
Drake gave us one of the most iconic rap Grammy moments of all time a few years back, and it didn't even take place at the Grammys. In a flex that will last the ages, Drizzy filmed himself (and his OVO buddies) taking shots from his trophy after it arrived in the mail.
Now that he's got a Best Rap Album award on his mantle, Drake is ready make yet another moment in Grammy history, holding his own ceremony on Instagram last night. Drake posted 5 photos to his account, all with a generic stock photo of a Grammy, but the interesting part came in the descriptions. Tagging each photo as "#HoodGrammys", the Toronto rapper honored some of the biggest street hits of the year, from Bobby Shmurda to Rae Sremmurd. His selections were pretty on point, but his OVO bias was definitely in full swing, with both Makonnen and PARTNEXTDOOR getting mentions.
