Any rap fan who grew up in Canada has been familiar with Belly for a good decade, and witnessing his glo up into an internationally recognized artist has been satisfying for those who know his early material. One of those Canadians who watched Belly on Much Vibe back in the day is Drake, and the OVO star happened to be one of a few famous friends who congregated for Belly's 33rd birthday Friday night.
"More Life to bro on his bday. Showed me anything was possible from early and I'm always proud to see u shine and progress," Drake wrote on Instagram, sharing an old photo of Belly.
Some more photos and videos from the night revealed that French Montana and Amber Rose were also in attendance, and as XXL points out, a very large blunt was smoked.
