Last night, a few hours after Funk Flex shared a few unbecoming Drake stories on his HOT 97 radio show, Drake took shots at the DJ during an afterparty at NYC club Space Ibiza following his sold-out show at Madison Square Garden. He didn't mention Flex by name, but it was clear to whom he was referring.
“I don’t mean going and playing the songs like four weeks late and shit," Drake began, "trying to sound cool, late night, prime time on the radio 7 to 9 o’clock, talking all that bullshit. Shoutout to the real DJs that know I'm on the real music and shit like that. Shoutout to New York City. It's love, you already know! My name is Drake, I'm here to fuck with you tonight. Fuck the rest of that bullshit. I'm out here, you already know. Skrrt!!"
Flex's shots at Drake perhaps did not have the desired effect, as he insulted Drake fans for wearing sandals and accused the rapper of leaking his own reference track on Meek Mill's "R.I.C.O." In any case, watch footage of Drake's rejoinder below.
