We knew that when Pharrell was set to appear as the guest on OVO Sound, he would be delivering on a something magical for the folks listening at home, and he lived up to his name when he dropped off a new remix of his “Lemon” cut with a new verse from Drake himself and it proves to be the gift we didn’t knew we needed, but are surely grateful to receive.
The original iteration of the track—the lead single off N*E*R*D’s No One Ever Really Dies album—featured a sole guest verse from Rihanna and has since topped off at a modest No. 40 spot on the Billboard Hot 100 while certifying Gold in the United States.
There’s no doubt that we’ll be witnessing how this special touch from Drake lends a hand in boosting those figures in the weeks to come.
