Famed hip-hop/pop producer Dr. Luke is being sued by his frequent collaborator Kesha for emotional, physical, sexual, and verbal abuse.

Kesha claims Dr. Luke took advantage of her from the moment she signed with him as an eighteen-year-old, saying he would force her to use drugs and alcohol to remove her defenses. In one instance, the singer recalls Luke forcing her to take what he called "sober pills." After having done so, she woke up the following afternoon, naked in Dr. Luke's bed, sore, sick, and with no memory of how she got there.

On top of clear sexual and physical abuse, Kesha also cites Dr. Luke mentally abusing her to the point that she would suffer from the eating disorder bulimia nervosa early last year, which almost killed her. She claims Luke said, among other things, "You are not that pretty, you are not that talented, you are just lucky to have me."

She entered a rehabilitation center to be treated for the disorder earlier this year, the lawsuit said.

The lawsuit also claims there have been examples of physical abuse as well, citing an instance in which Luke violently thrashed his arms at the singer at his home in Malibu. She says to have escaped his anger by running barefoot along the side of the Pacific Coast Highway and hiding in the mountains.

Kesha's reps explain that the lawsuit "is a wholehearted effort by Kesha to regain control of her music career and her personal freedom after suffering for ten years as a victim of mental manipulation, emotional abuse and an instance of sexual assault at the hands of Dr. Luke." The lawsuit would terminate contractual agreements that Kesha still has with her abuser.

Dr. Luke, who's listed as a producer on tracks ranging from T.I. & Eminem's "That's All She Wrote" to multiple hit singles from Flo Rida & Juicy J, has sued Kesha right back, stating that the claims are "outrageous and untrue."

"We are confident that Dr. Luke will prevail in all matters, and that our client will be awarded substantial damages for this malicious conduct," said Luke's lawyer.
