Dr. Dre will co-produce the horror-thriller "Thaw."

 Variety reports that Dr. Dre will be producing a horror film, "Thaw," for his Crucial Films banner.

Dre is producing the film with Crucial Films partner Daniel Schnider, who came up with the idea originally. Vik Weet is set to write the script for the film. The story will focus on an ancient evil that emerges from the rapidly melting ice of the Yukon.
