Today really is Dre Day, so it seems entirely too appropriate to choose Dre. Day's "Fuck Wit Dre Day" (or simply "Dre Day" in its censored form) as our Throwback song of choice. Although the record has nothing at all to do with the doctor's birthday, it was actually a diss record towards former friend/NWA member Eazy-E, with some shots thrown in towards 2 Live Crew's Luke and Ice Cube for good measure.
People made a pretty big deal with Drake's "Back to Back" Meek Mill diss charted on the Billboard Hot 100 (peaking at #21)-- lest we forget that Dre's diss actually peaked at #8 on the Hot 100.
The music video (although the one here is extremely shitty quality, thanks internets) even features an Eazy-E look-alike who is called 'Sleazy-E.'
