Wiz channels his "Kush & Orange Juice" flow.

Wiz Khalifa was one of many artists to hop on DP Beats' DPONTHEBEAT Vol. 3. The mixtape features appearances from Travis Scott, Yung Bans, Lil Uzi Vert, Rick Ross, Playboi Carti, and more. The production throughout the project is on point, but the Wiz Khalifa assisted "Hardly Ever Home" stands out as a banger.

"Hardly Ever Home" finds Wiz Khalifa channeling that Kush & Orange Juice vibe that elevates the single to the next level. The instrumental also gives a nostalgic feeling, with the Dipset sounding horns and looped sample creating an unintentional anthem. Wiz uses a slow, calculated flow that exists somewhere between a freestyle and a constructed verse. No chorus is needed, and Wiz gives listeners that authentic mixtape sound where the rapper speaks to the audience during the hook instead.

Quotable Lyrics
I ain't gotta say I'm back homie
Don't gotta write it for you to know it's a wrap homie
Them niggas perform, my niggas down to clap homie
All I got is real friends, no rap homies
No latch on me, broke the mold
No match for me
I'm in my prime, most these cats forty
