It seems as though things have completely spiraled out of control for Dot Da Genius since he and Jhené Aiko officially split back in August. Though the couple had only announced their secret marriage months before their split, things have soured between the two extremely quickly, with damaging rumors of cheating floating in the mix.
Today, it seems as though there is still a lot of turmoil to come as HipHopDX reports that Dot Da Genius has not only filed for divorce citing, "irreconcilable differences," but has also filed for spousal support, and is also taking initiative to block Jhené Aiko from receiving alimony.
The two artists' are also working on reaching a separation agreement to determine which property each of them will get.
As this caldron like situation bubbles on, more and more rumors of Jhené Aiko's relationship with rapper Big Sean have continued to stir the pot, with the most recent headlines on the two being centered on the announcement of their forthcoming follow-up to the couple's TWENTY88 album, coming in 2017.
No details yet on official court hearing dates. Here is to hoping that these two can resolve their differences and get back to making music.
