Both Sean Kingston as well as his DJ and collaborator, DJ Twin, have serious ties to the Chicago streets. Earlier this year, Twin shared "Dirty Money," a collab with King Louie, and as for Kingston, he shared the crazy Metro Boomin-produced "Murda Mook," featuring Chief Keef, last September. Twin is now back with "They Know Us," which is the latest single off his upcoming album Day 1. The song features and is written by Kingston, and it includes a couple of cold verses from the unfuckwitable duo of Lil Bibby and G Herbo.
"They Know Us" has a dark energy, with a wobbling bass that maintains a high level of suspense for the entire track. But it's also got a crisp, smooth hook from Kingston that seamlessly bridges the brutal come-up stories from the two young Chiraq sensations.
Day 1 hits the streets on June 25. Expect it to include more well-rounded collabs like this one.
