Back in August, DJ Premier and A$AP Ferg teased a "New York Anthem" they had in the cut. It's been over two months but we finally have received it. A$AP Ferg and DJ Premier finally connect on "Our Streets."

A$AP Mob as a whole came in the game with their own flare to New York City's classic style. Both musically and with their fashion. Over time, they've made themselves staples in the New York renaissance. While they've worked with several classic NYC rappers and producers in the past, A$AP Ferg and DJ Premier finally connect on "Our Streets." It's an ode to the traditional hip hop sound with classic samples and signature scratches from DJ Premier. Meanwhile, Ferg delivers serious bars throughout, riding the beat flawlessly without missing a breath. It's a dope collaboration between the new school and the old and will hopefully spawn more collabs between the two. Ferg may be a leader in the new school but he has no problems with paying his respects to those who paved the way for him.

DJ Premier helped re-launch the classic hip hop label, Payday Records on it's 25th anniversary with this single. The Ultra Music Founder, Patrick Moxley, is the man behind relaunching the label and was once the manager for Gang Starr back in the day. "Our Streets" is the first single from the label and Premier is also the first artist signed to the relaunched Payday Records.

"Patrick always had his ear to the street and it didn't take a lot of explaining the culture since he was so involved with so many aspects of it, including managing Gang Starr's legacy since 1989 – 2003” DJ Premier said in a statement, "Our memories of growing together is monumental, so relaunching Payday brings it all back to the roots of where our flight to success lifted off."

With it's releaunch, we're definitely going to receive a hell of a lot of dope music from them. Keep your eyes and ears out for more releases.

Quotable Lyrics
This beat hot, I could catch a tan
My demographic in L.A. all Mexican
I love my supporters, they keep the cheque in hand
So any chance I get, I'mma bless the fans.
