Massachusetts duo DJ Manipulator and Louie Gonz last released a full-length effort in 2014 with their Private Stock album.
Now three years later, the two return to preview their forthcoming The Loops LP, due this June.
While coming off a three-year hiatus, Manipulator and Gonz are seizing the opportunity to reintroduce themselves to both new and returning listeners.
The album's lead single arrives in the form of "This Sound", which calls on West Coast spitter Blu as he goes head to head with Louie on the two-miute long track.
While they continue to push the limits of their sound, DJ Manipulator's skill behind the board and Louie Gonz comfort on the mic are much-appreciated constants.
