Yesterday DJ Khaled announced the title of his upcoming LP, which had both good and bad connotations in it's name: Suffering From Success.
It turns out the inspiration for the title came from a doctor's appointment, Khaled revealed while talking to MTV News.
"I noticed on my beard... a big bald spot and it just kept getting bigger and bigger," Khaled said of his health scare in 2012. Khaled reluctantly went to the doctor, who, after handing Khaled a prescription, put her hand on the DJ's shoulder and said, "Son you’re suffering from success."
"It opened my mind up to say success comes with stress and happiness," Khaled explained, "So when I’m walking down, leaving the doctor’s office, driving home, I was like, ‘That’s gonna be the name of my new album: Suffering From Success."
Although nothing been confirmed for this upcoming LP, expect Khaled's frequent collaborators, Rick Ross, Lil Wayne and Kanye West to make an appearance on this new album.
