Between a deal with L.A. Reid and Epic Records, co-signs from Andre 3000 and Erykah Badu, and a fresh, fiery, chord trigger-driven sound, $ilkmoney and Divine Council are poised for a huge 2017. This afternoon, they released the video for "Decemba (Remix)" feat. Andre 3000, which originally came out in September.
The 3-Stacks-directed video finds $ilkmoney busting out of court and fleeing to his safehouse, where the cops soon show up, giving him the opportunity to act out the fantasy described by Andre in the song. The ending does not disappoint.
To be working with a legend like Andre is crazy as hell to me," producer ICYTWAT told Complex. "The video was cool as hell to be in, it was like a movie. Seeing Andre in that director mode and having to be in actor mode was so tight. Definitely a new experience."
