One of the latest supergroups comes by way of Labrinth, Sia and Diplo all dubbed LSD. The trio linked up earlier in the year and released their debut track "Genius" followed by "Audio." Today they are back with a quick snippet of their next musical offering that will officially arrive on Thursday.
The beat's called "Thunderclouds" and this one has more of an island, sentimental vibe than the last couple. The video that accompanies the teaser sees Sia and Labrinth in their animation figures, matching the past visuals. The group have a full-length album in the works and if things go as planned it should arrive later this year.
“Me and Calvin [Harris] hijacked the term EDM when it was good for us. We might be in magazine articles [being called] the EDM guys, but we were never that,” Diplo previously stated. “I’ve known [Calvin] for so many years and he was doing funk music, singing on records… We hijacked [the term EDM] at the moment and he refined it. He did it better than anyone else.”
