Diddy's Children Send Supplies To Philippine Victims Of Typhoon Haiyan [Update: Game Donates $10,000 To Typhoon Relief]

Diddy's children are sending supplies to victims of Typhoon Haiyan in the Philippines.

For those currently living under a rock, Typhoon Haiyan swept the Philippines last week and caused complete devastation. At the time of this report, approximately 2,350 have been confirmed dead, 3,850 injured and some 545,000 displaced, with an estimated 2.5 million in need of food and aid.

Fortunately, the world has stepped in to help. The British, French, Israeli and U.S. governments are aiding directly, and along with the UN, approximately 25 humanitarian organizations are operating out of Tacloban. Now, as reported by the TMZ, it seems Sean "Diddy" Combs' children have joined the effort as well, packing up unnecessary shoes, clothes and blankets and sending them to the victims of the typhoon.

The family-style relief effort was spearheaded by Christian and Quincy Combs, who, with help from 6-year-old twin sisters Jessie James and D'Lila Star, sent multiple boxes of supplies to Philippines relief agencies.

Hopefully this compassion catches on. The victims of Typhoon Haiyan are in our prayers.

[Update: Game Donates $10,000 To Typhoon Relief]

It seems Diddy's kids aren't the only ones involved in the Typhoon Haiyan relief effort. The Game has partnered with actor/professional poker player Dan Bilzerian and personally donated $10,000 as part of his ongoing "Robin Hood" project - he's aiming to have donated $1 million to various charitable causes by Christmas.

Here's Game's official statement, which was posted on his Instagram account:

"I know many of you might've heard about the typhoon in the Philippines by now where their death total continues to rise daily and is now roughly about 2,500 bodies found dead with an expected 100-150 more daily says their President Benigno Aquino," Game said on the social media site. "This hurts my heart knowing that many of those amongst the dead are little children. Every now & again there is a tragedy that strikes somewhere around the world as the previous Thailand Tsunsmi, Haiti Earthquake & the most vicious here in the states "HURRICANE KATRINA"..... It is in these times where we as people of this world get the opportunity to unite with one another & give back, help aid, lend a hand, donate or just send prayers....... Well I am one of those people, so on behalf of @TheRobinHoodProject & my charitable partner @DanBilzerian we are donating $10,000 to help aid in the relief efforts to restore whatever possible in such a horrific natural disaster. My heart goes out to the families & friends of those who perished for only God knows I could not deal with the loss of any of mine. If there's anyone out there who would like to donate anything.... UNICEF.org/Philippines or REDcross.org & to directly help the families go to www.worldvision.org/Haiyan now !!! I am sure they would appreciate any sum of money donated. Thanks for your help & follow @therobinhoodproject NOW as well as hashtag us at #TheRobinHoodProject to tell us about/keep up with other stories. Thank you - The Game."
